EP Comedy Fest
Third Annual Edison Park Comedy Festival October 14th – 16th 2011
Chicago, IL October 14th-16th 2011 - Yes I Am Show Business in conjunction with the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the third annual Edison Park Comedy Fest beginning Friday October 14th and running through Sunday 16th. The fest will feature over twenty of Chicago’s best stand-up comedians performing at five venues in Edison Park. Each show will consist of a different line-up of Chicago's best-known comics.
The fest is set to kick off Friday October 14th at Edison Park Inn (6715 N. Olmsted, Chicago) at 8pm and will be headlined by Mike Stanley who has been voted Best Chicago Stand-Up Comedian by the Chicago Reader. Yes I Am founder Tony Valle will host the kick-off show.
Saturday October 15th, the festival takes on two venues, the first beginning at 8pm at The Emerald Isle (6686 N. Northwest Hwy) where the show will star neighborhood favorite Joe Kilgallon (www.comediansyoushouldknow.com) who is a regular at the Chicago Improv. Walk down the street for a 10:30pm show at Nonno Pino's (6718 N. Northwest Hwy) where you can see Kilgallon in a different role as he hosts this double-header!
Sunday night the comedy moves around the corner to Snuggery Pub (6733 N. Olmsted Avenue) at 8pm where it's monthly comedy show, “Laugh and a Half (3rd Sunday every month)” joins the Festival! Laugh and a Half's regular host Tony Valle performs while Joe Fernandez, finalists for the Andy Kaufman award steps in to host. Marty DeRosa (www.creativehasnothingforyou.com) will close out the show. The festival’s finale will be at Moretti’s (6727 Olmsted Ave) at 10:30pm and is for adults only!!! NC-17 is the theme of the show and will feature Chicago's most creative care-free comics for half the ticket price!
The showroom doors will open a half our before showtime and all five venues include a full bar and kitchen. Show's will run ON-TIME so please be prompt!
Tickets are $12 at the door, $10 online and $35 for a weekend pass .
